Paid Time Away (PTA)
- Twenty-one (21) weekdays for vacation, illness, business, personal or other leaves of absence.
Continuing Medical Education (CME)
- Five (5) days off for continuing medical education (CME).
- Residents/fellows are allotted $2500/year for expenses.
Laptop
Residents/fellows are provided a laptop for use during residency/fellowship program.
Meals
Residents are provided a meal allowance.
Fitness Center
Residents/fellows have free membership to Community's fitness centers, including BodyZone North near Community Hospital North, BodyZone East located in Community Hospital East and BodyZone South located in Community Hospital South. BodyZone facilities are accessible 24/7.
Lab Coats
Professional lab coats with your name are furnished at the beginning of your residency program.
Medical Insurance
Residents/fellows and their families are eligible for the same pre-tax health insurance benefits available to network employees and may choose from two different plans. Dental and vision plans also are available.
Health Care and Dependent Care
Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options for both healthcare and dependent care are available.
Retirement Plan
Residents/fellows are eligible for the Network's retirement plan, including a variety of 401k options.
Sick Leave and Long-Term Disability
In addition to paid time off, residents/fellows are eligible for short-term and long-term disability benefits.
Life Insurance
Residents/fellows and their dependents are eligible for group life insurance as a pre-tax benefit.
Malpractice Insurance
The Network provides, without cost to the resident/fellow, a public liability policy and malpractice insurance policy.
Caregiver/Parental Leave
- 6 weeks paid caregiver leave one time during residency (based upon ACGME requirement)
- 2 weeks paid parental leave available after one year of employment
