Medical School: Indiana University School of Medicine
College: Indiana University Northwest
Hometown: Crown Point, Indiana
Hobbies/Interests: I am so excited to be joining the Community East Family Medicine Residency Program! My medical interests include women’s health, global health and working with underserved populations. One of my passions is doing mission trips abroad and contributing to patient care and education in developing countries. Outside of medicine, some of my favorite things to do include spending time with family and friends and playing with my cats. I also love traveling, exploring different parks and nature trails, zip lining, and trying out different restaurants. When I’m not outdoors, you will find me curled up in bed reading fictional novels, playing board games, or doing DIY projects.

Hobbies/Interests: My wife and I love traveling and hiking with dog, as well as cooking together. It is a life goal of mine to learn as many languages as possible. I have been a musician most of my life and play strings, guitar, percussion and piano. I stay active with Crossfit, weightlifting and strongman. My active lifestyle lends to my interest in sports medicine and applying osteopathic principles and treatment to every patient.

Hobbies/Interests: I am excited to be able to stay in the great city of Indianapolis for residency! I am a huge foodie and love exploring all the new restaurants and breweries popping up around the city. I also enjoy traveling and love having the opportunity to drive a short distance to the airport to jet off to some cool city for the weekend. Austin, Texas is a recent favorite destination of mine. When I’m not traveling or eating, I enjoy working out and trying new classes like cycling, aerial yoga or strength training. My medical interests include global health and women’s health.

Medical School: Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine
College: University of Indianapolis
Hometown: Trafalgar, Indiana
Hobbies/Interests: I grew up in a small town just south of Indianapolis and was able to complete my undergraduate and medical degrees in Indianapolis. I am excited that I will be able to complete my residency training in Indianapolis at Community East. My future goals are to be able to practice full spectrum care in small communities around Indianapolis. I have a passion for anything involving sports and would like to work with local high school teams in the future. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife (who I have known since high school) and our daughter. We enjoy trying local coffee shops and riding bikes to the farmer’s market during the summer.

Michael Miller, MDMichael Miller, MD

Medical School: Indiana University School of Medicine
College: Hanover College
Hometown: North Vernon, Indiana
Hobbies/Interests: Born and raised in small-town Indiana, I am particularly interested in medicine within underserved populations and believe that mental health and addictions training are especially important for family medicine. Outside of the clinic, my significant other, Winter, and I are gigantic nerds, enjoying many a fantasy, sci-fi, or superhero romp, whether it be on the silver screen or between the pages of a book. In particular, I collect and play obscure board games and will rope you into playing a round if you give me half a chance! I also love the performing arts in all of their varieties. Don’t be surprised if you catch me singing a show tune under my breath!
