Christopher Hansen, MD

I had a very good experience with Dr Hansen. I was diagnosed with a blocked aorta and he is very thorough by running tests to figure out a solid diagnosis. He is going to continue follow up visits every 6 months for future care. He also referred me to another specialist to help me figure out answers.

Dr. Hanson did surgery for me 18 years ago and I returned to him regarding a current issue. I was impressed with him 18 years ago and I am impressed with him now.

Was very informational with me on my issures at hand. was very easy to s[peak to about things, listened and tried to give input when i asked. Very nice man, and didnt make me feel like i was a bither like alot of doctors sometimes do.

He took his time and was genuinely concerned about me and my condition

Dr. Hanson actively listened to my concerns and answered my questions. He generously provided details relative to my diagnosis which I greatly appreciated.

Dr. Hansen has the ability to see beyond medical issues and find areas where treatment of of the patients medical problems can be so numerous, that a more conservative approach is in order rather than one of blind full-speed-ahead, which may raise problems within the patient's other areas. He prefers to get updated test results before making decisions that could worsen the balance of the patients total health prognosis.

There is no communication between doctors and I don’t think the doctor even looked at my chart. There was also no empathy. They wonder why patients go crazy because the doctor makes their situation feel like it’s no big deal while I’m sitting there in pain and have been for weeks! But they say come back in 6 months. Yeah. Not happening.

Dr Hansen was going to do my 3rd surgery on my left carotid. I asked him to see if they would give Dr Dilley permission to do the surgery as he had retired at the end of that year. He made that happen for me since Dr Dilley had done my 2 previous surgeries. I was a little superstitious about my 3 rd surgery. I’m one of 2% who gets excessive scar tissuing. Everything is rare on me, when I first met Dr Dilley he said you’re special, you’re not supposed to be that special with your surgeon. I have a rare disease, excessive scar tissuing, had a strawberry gallbladder which was rare. I don’t like all this rare stuff so I understood what he meant. Lol. But Dr Hansen is my surgeon now. He’s very smart, was the one that got me to quit smoking, just by telling me the truth. I’m not fond of change, but I am confident of Dr Hansen taking over my care. He remembered me and remembered I was special, he doesn’t think I need right now but did order a cat scan/contrast and we’ll see. Hopefully I won’t need surgery yet but my neurologist sent me to him whom I’ve seen over 30 years.

Dr Hansen treats you as a valuable individual and is very thoughtful in his care and treatment.

I really enjoyed talking with Dr. Hansen. He explained things so that I understood and helped my concerns for future care. He really listened to me. He is the first doctor to do that in some time.

Him and his staff was very positive, knowledgeable about my concerns! and over all nice.... I think i even said something to one of his nurses... that they all are so bright and cheerful and pleasant..
