Ways to Help
Shraddha Ramnath, High School Volunteer
Shraddha has been dancing since she was seven years old. As a senior at Carmel High School, she danced at her Bharatanatyam Arangetram, a graduation ceremony denoting the successful completion of a series of nine classical Indian dances. To prepare, Shraddha practiced for at least six hours per week for more than eight months.
As a volunteer at Community Hospital North's Pediatric Unit, she also demonstrates this dedication and strong work ethic. While performing her Bharatanatyam Arangetram, in lieu of gifts, she asked her nearly 400 guests to make a donation in support of Community Health Network’s young patients.
In total, she raised more than $2,000 for Community’s pediatric patients. In the weeks following her performance, Shraddha visited the pediatric unit to present the funds she had raised to Community leaders.
Exceptional care, simply delivered, isn’t just Community’s motto. It’s our way of life. This caliber of care is possible thanks to both the expertise of our caregivers and the generous gifts of grateful patients and their families.

One of the most important—and easiest—ways to support our healthcare mission, you may designate for Community Health Network Foundation a percentage of your estate’s assets, a specific dollar amount or specific property in your will or living trust. You retain full use of your property during your lifetime and can make revisions at any time if your circumstances change.
You may designate Community Health Network Foundation as the beneficiary of a percentage or all of your IRA, 401(k), deferred compensation or other pension plans at the time of your passing. Retirement plans can be subject to death taxes and distributions to your beneficiaries are generally subject to income tax. The amount designated to Community from your retirement plan(s) at the time of death, passes tax-free. You may also be eligible to gift a portion of your IRA to Community during your lifetime.
You may gift an existing or new life insurance policy to Community Health Network Foundation by naming us as the owner and/or beneficiary. You may be entitled to receive an income tax deduction if Community is named as the owner of your policy. Gifts made to assist with future premium payments are also tax deductible.
Charitable Gift Annuity
A charitable gift annuity is a gift that pays you income. It is a simple contract between you and Community Health Network Foundation. Community agrees to pay you or others designated by you a fixed income annually for life in exchange for an irrevocable gift of cash or marketable securities. A portion of each payment may be tax-free, you receive an income tax deduction and avoid capital gains tax on the gift. Community will receive the remaining balance of your annuity at the time of death.
