The VP Product Line Strategy, Women’s Health position is located in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Duties

In conjunction with the Physician Product Line Leader, the Vice President of Product Line Strategy continually assesses the business, the industry, and the organization enabling the product line to react with great agility, speed, and creativity to become the product line of choice in the market.

This role:
  • Plans, organizes, and directs all strategic & business development related functions and activities (internal and external).
  • Leads “The Way We Improve” processes to reduce clinical variation and improve quality, identify opportunities for success in value-based care, and drive growth within the product line.
  • Collaborates with the Physician Product Line Leader, operational lead Medical Directors and other senior leaders within the product line to establish goals, objectives, and standards of performance and facilitates implementation of quality improvements, into operations. 
  • Holds overall responsibility for aligning and facilitating strategy for Product Line Services within the context of the Network strategic planning cycle, including the development and implementation of plans emphasizing clinical excellence, consistently exceptional customer experiences, and profitable growth. 


Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience with at least three (3) years in healthcare; multi-site experience preferred.  

Bachelor’s degree with commensurate executive level experience; master’s degree preferred.




  • Ability to develop a clear, realistic, and actionable vision, as well as provide results-oriented strategic and systems leadership.
  • Ability to effectively and credibly interact with, and influence, external and internal constituencies with sensitivities for relationship and political dynamics.
  • Ability to develop a Best in Class product line strategy, with teamwork, service excellence and safe and exceptional quality outcomes as its hallmark.
  • Demonstrated drive to meet patients’, physicians’, and employees’ needs.
  • Ability to learn a marketplace quickly and determine critical success factors for optimal performance and profitable growth.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare strategy, operations, managed care, and physician relations.
  • Must be able to communicate with others verbally and in written format including presentation and facilitation skills consistent with executive-level leadership.
  • Must be able to travel to other facilities on/off campus, and use keyboard and telephone.
