Job Location

The Vice President of Post-Acute Services position is located in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Duties

The Vice President of Post-Acute Services, working in conjunction with the Community Physician Network (CPN) Post Acute Physician Executive, collaborates with medical directors, operational leaders, and other key organizational stakeholders to develop and execute product line strategic and operational plans in support of organizational priorities and Community Health Network’s Aspiration for Quality (exceptional customer experience, outstanding outcomes, care and services that are appropriate, and recognized value and reasonable cost) to become the product line of choice in the market. The VP will:
  • Plan, organize, direct and execute all strategic and business development-related functions; 
  • Lead The Way We Improve initiatives to reduce clinical variation and improve quality and operational performance; 
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for success in value-based care; 
  • Drive growth and financial health; 
  • Ensure exceptional patient and caregiver experience;
  • Establish goals, objectives, and standards of performance to achieve uniform best practice across the Network; and
  • Provide supervision for CPN group practice directors. 

Experience

Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience with at least three (3) years in product line clinical area or related area preferred; multi-site experience preferred.

Education

A bachelor’s degree with commensurate executive level experience. Master’s degree preferred.

License

No license required.

  • Ability to learn a marketplace quickly, and determine critical success factors for optimal performance and profitable growth,
  • Working knowledge of healthcare strategy, operations, managed care, and physician relations,
  • Expert in application of change management principles,
  • Excellent conflict management skills, 
  • Must be able to communicate with others verbally and in written format including presentation and facilitation skills consistent with executive-level leadership,
  • Must be able to travel to other facilities on/off campus, and be able to use keyboard and telephone.
