The Vice President, Chief Pharmacy Officer (VP CPO) position is located in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Duties

The VP, Chief Pharmacy Officer provides strategic vision, planning, and effective leadership to Community Health Network’s Pharmacy services, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost effective Acute, Ambulatory, and Specialty Pharmacy programs. This leader:
  • Provides evidence-based clinical decision support for changes that impact system wide medication management and an integrated approach to pharmacy practice.
  • Is knowledgeable of current and proposed regulations impacting 340B program participation, joint commission and URAC accreditation, and acts on opportunities or risks.
  • Brings strong clinical and business perspectives to ensure optimal financial performance.

Minimum of ten (10) years progressive pharmacy leadership experience in a multi-hospital and multi-specialty ambulatory health system. Experience managing 340B contract pharmacy, specialty, and mixed use programs. Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred.


PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy required. Post-graduate degree in business administration, health administration or public health preferred.


Valid Indiana Pharmacist License must be obtained within 6 months of placement.
