Location
This position is located in the Carmel office on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and will be in the Indianapolis office (north side) on Thursday and Friday.

Duties
The Triage Registered Nurse functions as a member of the physician practice team. The Triage RN duties include taking incoming and outgoing triage phone calls from patients, scheduling appointments, contacting patients with lab and test results and providing patient education. Coordinating patient care, communicating with patients, their families and internal and external physician, hospital and healthcare agencies. Assisting physician in completing patient medical forms. The Triage RN may also give some injections, nurse visit teachings and CGM device set-ups throughout the day.

Experience
Two years or more of nursing experience required. Previous medical office experience and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred. Endocrinology experience a plus!

Education
Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program, or three years related professional nursing experience.

License
Current Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

Skills
Excellent communication skills; excellent team skills; compassionate and caring; accountable; self-directed. Able to prioritize medial emergency phone calls, explain lab/test results, and communicate effectively within the patients level of understanding.
