Job Location

The Transcription System Coordinator is located in Indianapolis, Indiana

Job Duties

• The Transcription System Coordinator will research and address end user questions across multiple computer systems and resolve system related issues
• The Coordinator will be responsible for training and assisting end users on dictation and transcription functionality and assist with testing system related enhancements and/or upgrades


• Minimum of one year experience in Health Information Management (HIM) and/or Transcription


• Associate’s degree required, preferably in Health Information Management (HIM)


• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification through AHIMA preferred


• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of Health Information Management
• Knowledge of electronic medical records
• General computer proficiency
• Ability to educate others on system functionality
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Well-developed problem solving, troubleshooting and listening skills


Must pass pre-hire testing:
• Microsoft Word (80%)
• Microsoft Excel (80%)
