Location
The Trainer role is located at our Lutherwood campus on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Duties
  • Design and implement training programs for staff to meet State licensing, Board of Health and COA requirements
  • Assists in supervision and ongoing assessment of competencies, administrative management, facilitation, and monitoring the day to day function of program
  • Supports and promotes the program philosophy, vision, and mission
Experience
5+ years of residential or child care facility experience required

Education
Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health or education related field or equivalent years of experience

License
Valid Indiana driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and driving record that adheres to policy guidelines, if necessary for program service delivery as applicable

Skills
  • Ability to develop and implement a learning plan to train various staff persons / roles
  • Possesses knowledge of systems theory and can apply concepts as they relate to implementation of role responsibilities
  • Possesses an understanding of school and/ or community cultural barriers and opportunities for building relationships and/or providing health prevention, intervention, education, and consultation services
  • Must possess, by specialized training and/or experience, specific age-specific competencies to deal with the needs of children, adolescents, and their families
