Job Location
The Supervisor of Sterile Processing position is located in Kokomo, Indiana at the Community Surgery Center Howard.

Job Duties
  • Responsible for daily sterile processing issues.
  • Operates and maintains a quality sterile processing instrumentation program.

  • Responsible for staying active with the Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) and Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) regulations.
  • Responsible for maintaining sterile processing staff education and any needed sterile processing educated needed by OR Nurses and/or CSTs. 

  • Relays any issues to OR Manager
  • Assists in sterile processing staff disciplinary process and has input on sterile processing staff performance appraisals.
  • Responsible for daily communication needs to all departments.
  • Minimum five years of Materials distribution experience required
  • Minimum two years leadership experience required
  • No less than 2 years’ experience in Sterile Processing
High school diploma or GED equivalent.


Certified Registered Central Supply Technician (CRCST) / Central Service Technician (CST) required.


Excellent customer service skills.
