Location
The School Nurse may cover multiple school districts including; Beech Grove, Clark Pleasant, Decatur, Franklin, Greenwood, Lawrence, Perry, Warren, Noblesville, and Hamilton Southeastern. The School Nurse will either be in the North/East region or the South/West region based on location preference. 

Duties
Provides health services to facilitate optimal physical, mental, emotional and social growth and development for students within the schools. Cares for students with chronic health issues and helps identify health needs during the course of the school day. Provides health education, medication management, emotional support and referral to higher levels of care based on student needs. Supports the education process by working to assure the health of the students. Promotes healthy habits and overall health to strengthen maximum learning.

Experience
Two years of experience working with pediatric patients required.

PRN Requirement
PRN staff must be available to work a minimum of two shifts per pay period, in order to maintain competency as a school nurse. PRN staff must also float to all of the school districts within the assigned region.

Education
Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program, or three years related professional nursing experience.

License
Current and valid licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Indiana.
