Under the supervision of a Dietary Supervisor, and according to established procedures, daily production and prep sheets, individual meal tickets and menus, prepares foods to be cooked to order in the appropriate amounts for patients use including special diets. This includes cereals, eggs,meats, vegetables, salads, soups, breads and desserts.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Six to twelve months experience in food preparation to acquire knowledge of equipment and techniques and skills needed for preparation and cooking of large quantities of food.
