Job Location
The Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator - Endoscopy position is located at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis, IN

Job Duties
Responsible for assisting in endoscopic surgical procedures as well as coordinating daily operations which include staff scheduling, supervision, and coordinating patient flow and efficient use of resources

Experience
  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience within endoscopy
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
Education
Graduate of Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education accredited school of nursing, or three years related professional nursing experience

License
Must have a current and valid license as a Registered Nurse from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency

  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to prioritize, organize and multi-task
  • Must be a team player in providing care that encompasses compassion, collaboration and trust
  • Must remain calm and effective in stressful situations and take initiative in emergency situations
Additional Information
On-call responsibility with a response time of 30 minutes; benefited position
