Where you fit in
The Registered Nurse Ambulatory functions as a member of the physician practice team, conducting duties such as: phone triage, calling patients with results, patient education, prescription refill, scheduling appointments, care coordination for OB/GYN population, prior authorizations, referrals, and other related tasks as needed. This position will primarily work from home once trained, but will also have to work in the office on occasion.
Your exceptional skills
Two years or more of nursing experience preferred. Labor and Delivery experience preferred. Previous medical office/outpatient experience and Phone Triage experience a Plus! Excellent communication skills; excellent team skills; compassionate and caring; accountable; self-directed; able to multi-task; detailed phone assessments.
Your exceptional qualifications
Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
