Highlights
Community Health Network is seeking a BE/BC Psychiatrist for an exciting opportunity to become a core residency faculty member for our newly ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program. Our new program is designed to provide exceptional physician training using a robust array of mental health service experiences combined with a comprehensive didactic curriculum. The faculty are committed to prepare residents to succeed at the forefront of the evolving role of psychiatry in the delivery of healthcare. This position will be a mix of both inpatient and outpatient settings; ideal candidates will have previous faculty/teaching experience.

About the Community Psychiatry Residency:
· Received ACGME initial accreditation in 2015
· Capacity for four residents in each class; first class began in July 2016
· Single EMR (EPIC)
· Affiliated with central Indiana’s largest behavioral health provider, offering the full continuum of services and a team-based approach to patient care
· Generous salary and benefits package, including incentives and paid CME
· Physician-led organization

About Community Health Network Academic Affairs:

In 2012, the network became an independent sponsor of graduate medical education under the ACGME. While affiliated with both Indiana University School of Medicine and Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine, the network sponsors graduate medical education in a variety of specialties, including family medicine (ACGME, AOA), podiatry, psychiatry and a hospitalist fellowship. Physicians who are core faculty will work with the residency program as their primary activity, with delivery of clinical care done primarily with residents and students, not independently. The facilities of the network and patient population are ideal for a rich educational experience for psychiatry residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Core faculty work as a team to meet the educational program and resident needs during 4 years of training, while helping to develop a new curriculum for the residency program.
About Community Health Network Behavioral Health Services:

Two separate units for children and adolescents are dedicated to treating youth ages 5 – 18. Seasons is our older adult unit for those experiencing significant behavioral changes resulting from medications, life events, and new or progressing psychiatric conditions. The inpatient experiences focus on the thorough evaluation and stabilization of an acute episode with follow-up care arranged in the community.
