Community Physician Network is seeking a part-time; board certified/board eligible Radiation Oncologist to join a thriving practice in the Indianapolis, IN metropolitan area at Community Hospital East. We are seeking a highly motivated physician with interest in SRS, SBRT, and HDR brachytherapy to join a network of five hospitals in and around the Indianapolis area. Community Health Network is certified member of the MD Anderson Cancer Physician Network®, a program of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, bringing higher quality cancer care to the Indianapolis community. • Cancer care affiliation with MD Anderson Cancer NetworkTM
• Comprehensive practice and multi-disciplinary support and collaboration with physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, medical oncologists, oncologic surgical specialists, genetic counselors, physical therapy, survivorship support and nurse navigators
• State of the art facility including Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator, offering IMRT (VMAT), SBRT, and linear accelerator based SRS
• Busy HDR brachytherapy program including breast, gynecologic oncology, and prostate treatments
• Robust research program with multiple open clinical trials available for patient enrollment

Desired requirements

• BE/BC in Radiation Oncology with experience in complex treatment planning including SBRT and SRS
• Desire to function in a highly collaborative surgical and oncologic atmosphere
• Consistent and consecutive employment and training history
• Excellent communication skills fostering collaboration with all members of care team
• Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians
