Where you fit in
The Community Spine Center offers a unique clinic environment that consists of a collaborative team approach between physiatrists, PA’s, NP’s and MDT trained physical therapists who work together to conservatively treat patients with a variety of spinal conditions.

As a physical therapist in our clinic, you will work alongside diplomat and credentialed therapists in an environment that exclusively utilizes Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) principles for treatment of their patients.

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for Interpreting results of the initial evaluation, determining appropriate patient goals, and developing treatment plans. You will modify treatment plans as needed and will utilize appropriate treatment techniques. You will communicate updates regarding patient progress and recommendations to referring providers.

You will also establish and maintain a safe environment conducive to effective team functioning, positive patient outcomes and personal safety.


Your exceptional skills
  • Strong interest in advancing skills and training in the McKenzie Method
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment made up of multiple disciplines in order to provide the best care for our patients
  • Ability to identify and consider biopsychosocial elements as contributing factors to our patient’s presentation.
  • Ability to work responsibly and independently in an environment that puts patients first.

Your exceptional qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program is required
  • Must have a valid Indiana Physical Therapy license or temporary permit
  • Candidates ideally would have clinical experience utilizing MDT with spine patients. While certification is not required to apply, the intent to become credentialed is expected. The Community Spine Center will partner with motivated candidate to complete MDT education and achieve credentialed status.
