The Pharmacy Technician position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana
- The Pharmacy Technician prepares sterile products and chemotherapy utilizing aseptic technique in a barrier isolator hood
- Accurately and efficiently selects medications for dispensing for patient use
- Delivers medications and supplies around the hospital in a timely manner; Perform Pyxis duties throughout the hospital
- Maintain proficiency with pharmacy technology (medication carousels, Pyxis machines, packager, and TPN compounder, etc.)
Previous pharmaceutical or related healthcare experience preferred
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Indiana Pharmacy Technician License required (may be technician in training as stipulated by IN Board of Pharmacy regulations); National Technician certification required within 2 years of hire.
