JOB LOCATION:
The Pharmacy Resident PGYII position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana

***MUST BE CURRENTLY ACCEPTED TO A COMMUNITY PHARMACY RESIDENT PROGRAM***


JOB DUTIES:
  • The Pharmacy Resident will develop practice skills through an intense, one year learning experience
  • While practicing as a pharmacist the resident will assure that medications, supplies, and drug information are furnished to the customer in an accurate and timely way in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards
  • The resident will also review and evaluate drug regimens, which include the medication profile, in order to identify issues that require pharmacy intervention or monitoring
  • The resident will engage in a range of activities to facilitate leadership. In addition, there is an emphasis on developing teaching skills to be used for educating patients, students, pharmacists and other health care providers
  • Following the experience, the resident should have a personal philosophy of practice, a systematic method for monitoring their performance and a demonstrated commitment to the profession

EXPERIENCE:
Completion of PGYI Residency required


EDUCATION:
Graduate of accredited college of pharmacy required


LICENSE:
Valid Indiana Pharmacist License must be obtained within 2 months
