The Peer Review Analyst is located in Indianapolis, Indiana


Job Duties


• The Peer Review Analyst will assist Quality and Risk Management and other Network departments in carrying out the Network’s goal of quality improvement
• Responsible for generation and compilation of internal statistical data, review of medical records utilization screening criteria and preparation of reports
• Provides statistical data to external agencies as appropriate


Experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a Health Information Management department


Education


High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred


License

RHIA, RHIT or CCS certification through AHIMA required


Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Strong working knowledge of Health Information Management processes
• Knowledge of electronic medical records
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to educate others on system functionality
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Well-developed problem solving, troubleshooting and listening skills
