Job Location
The Paramedic position is located at Community Hospital North, Heart and Vascular.

Job Duties
The Paramedic/LPN functions as an Emergency Department team member
Assists the Registered Nurse and Physician with basic patient care
Assists with Advanced Cardiac Life Support care

Experience
Previous healthcare experience preferred

Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent and graduate of a Paramedic training program

License
  • Current Paramedic licensure to practice as a Paramedic in the State of Indiana 
  • Must hold current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life 
  • Support (ACLS) certifications

Additional Information
New hire will work 3 days/week, 10 hour shifts. This role will serve as a transport from Heart and Vascular to Community Hospital North. The Paramedic will be responsible for IV’s starts and sheath pulls.
