Where you fit in
The Occupational Health Registered Nurse will oversee and facilitate smooth patient flow by coordinating back office staffing and outlining duties of the back office staff, and training of back office staff. Intake of patients including history taking, vital signs, and update of health history. Assists provider with patient procedures such as suture removal, wart and mole removal, pap smears, colposcopies, minor surgeries, etc., also administers EKGs, injections, immunizations, vision and hearing tests, and numerous venipunctures. Performs lab tests in accordance with needs of patient and as directed by the Provider. Maintains laboratory documentation in accordance with CLIA standards and practice specific protocol. Schedules offsite diagnostic tests and records procedures ordered and tracks results. Manages referral work queue. Maintains communication with Occupational Health Clients and manages communication flow with clients. Stays current with OSHA standards and Occupational Health regulatory compliance. Takes manual inventory of drugs, and other related tasks as needed.

Your exceptional skills
Two years or more of nursing experience preferred. Occupational Health experience a plus! Excellent communication skills; excellent team skills; compassionate and caring; accountable; self-directed.

Your exceptional qualifications
Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program, or three years related professional nursing experience. Current Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
