7:00am - 7:30pm; 24 hours working in education and 12 hours working on the floor per week.
Job Location
The Nurse Educator position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Job Duties
The Nurse Educator works closely with the Education Specialist, the Clinical Nurse Specialist and Department's Nursing Manager/Director to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate the educational needs of nursing staff at the unit/department level to enable staff to provide quality care for the unique patient population on that unit/department.

Experience

A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in nursing and at least one (1) year of
Maternity nursing experience.

Education
Graduate of Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing with credits toward a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

License

Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency required; Current certification in OB or must obtain within (1) year of assuming Nursing Educator role.
