Where you fit in
The Nursing Education Specialist will be responsible for providing education to nursing caregivers in the area of Emergency nursing. You will provide orientation, in-services and other classes.
Your exceptional skills
Maintain the philosophy, goals, objectives, and policy and procedure of the network, department, and units. Interact effectively with persons of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Design, develop and revise/maintain educational offerings and experiences based on principles of adult education, systematic inquiry, standards of practice, evaluation data and recommendations of accrediting agencies. Manage development, implementation and evaluation of educational activities program. Assess uses and evaluate appropriate equipment, materials, facilities and education technology. Access and use support services such as library, printing and audiovisual services.
Your exceptional qualifications
Graduate from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing with a baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
MSN required – or within 12 months of graduation with MSN focus of classes on Education
3 + years of experience in an acute care setting as an RN. Experience in Emergency nursing required.
Current Indiana RN license.
