Where you fit in
The Front Office Medical Assistant will be responsible for front office administrative functions. Scheduling, check in/out, etc.

Will cross train in assisting the provider of an ambulatory health care site with facilitation of patient visit and procedures, routine laboratory tests, referrals, and quality outcomes for the population of the practice. You will actively participate in Network quality initiatives regarding best practices.


Your exceptional skills

Greet patients as the first point of contact, whether in person or by phone. Administer appropriate paperwork, co-pay, check in/out procedures.  Cross train to prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient use including required cleaning and stocking of supplies, room patients and manage an efficient flow of provider’s caseload, obtain necessary vital signs, EKGs, and/or specimen collection, documentation of care using the EPIC EMR system. Perform Point of Care Testing based on patient’s chief complaint and available protocols, process referrals and medication refills, maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff


Your exceptional qualifications

Diploma from ABHES or CAAHEP accredited Medical Assistant training program, OR a diploma from a non-accredited Medical Assistant program plus one year of experience, OR a high school diploma + 7 years of experience.


Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire
