Job Duties
The Manager of Case Management Demonstrates performance consistent with professional standards or practice, care, and performance, and the mission and goals of the organization.
Provides onsite leadership to assure that daily department operations function effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of all customer and regulatory groups.
The Director has empowered this role with the authority necessary to ensure the appropriate clinical outcomes and efficient, effective team process.

Your Qualifications
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting as an RN
  • 2+ years of leadership experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Master’s degree preferred
  • Certification in Case Management required within 3 years of assuming the role (CCM or ACM)
  • Experience with utilization review, utilization management, denials management, clinical denials, appeals management, or case management strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated competency in Case Management, Utilization Review, or Appeals Management
  • Demonstrates team-building skills with accountability to the team
  • Demonstrates ability to effect change by assuming leadership roles in interdisciplinary teams and supporting the growth and development of team members
  • Evidence of willingness and ability to assume additional and/or different responsibilities
  • Demonstrates understanding of quality improvement processes at both the unit and the network level
  • Understands the relationship of individual patients, units and/or departments to the network as a whole, to facilitate achievement of optimal goals within those relationships
