The Manager, Business Architecture position is located in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Duties
Under the direction of the Information Technology (IT) Vice President of Enterprise Services, the Manager, Business Architecture will:
  • Effectively manage day-to-day activities of the business architect function to ensure IT/Business analysis and enterprise architecture meet organization goals and requirements through the use of detailed analysis and standardized proven processes.
  • Lead a team of business architects that help align strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding products and services, partners and suppliers and key business and IT initiatives.
  • Ensure that the team delivers according to agreed-upon deliverables and timeframes.
This position requires a minimum of seven (7) years of analysis/analyst -related experience and 2+ years of managerial experience.

This position requires an Undergraduate Degree in an Information Technology or business-related field.

  • Proven ability to manage the intricacies and complexities of an analysis/architecture group and customers.
  • Ability to manage in a team environment consisting of potentially challenging customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and balance competing demands of customers and analytic & architecture work.
  • Ability to develop and foster positive customer and team relationships.
  • Outstanding analytical and architecture skills, including but not limited to business analysis, enterprise architecture and functional/technical requirements gathering and traceability.
  • The ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions.
  • Broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, and enabling technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Professional attitude, personal drive, initiative, attention to detail, commitment to excellent customer service, and strong work ethic.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
