Job Location
The Licensed Practical Nurse/ Medical Assistant position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Job Duties
  • Performs direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and collaborates with the RN on the plan of care
  • Direct patient care can include rooming patients, cast removal, suture/staple removal
  • Indirect care can include order transcription, documentation, and reinforcement of patient and family education
Experience
Licensed Practical Nurse/ Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Education
Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or Graduate from a non-accredited school of practical nursing with three years related professional nursing experience.

 

Diploma from ABHES or CAAHEP accredited MA program  -OR-

Diploma from a non-accredited MA program + 5 years experience -OR-

High School Diploma + 7 Years



License

Valid Indiana LPN license.

 

Must have Medical Assistant certification within 6 months of hire.
