Job Location
The Instrument Room Coordinator - CST or RN position is located at the Community Surgery Center East in Indianapolis, IN

Job Duties
  • Coordinates decontamination and sterile processing logs of all instruments.
  • Maintains all regulatory logs and preventive maintenance logs of sterilization equipment. 
  • Participates in Quality Assurance for the department.
  • Promotes teamwork and functions as a team member in delivery of patient care and provides physical, educational and technical support.
  • Keep records of all equipment borrowed or loaned out to other health care facilities.
Experience
One to three year of Operating Room or Sterile processing experience; preferable in an outpatient setting.

Education
If RN, Graduate of Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education accredited school of nursing, or three years related professional nursing experience; If CST, Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited program of Surgical Technology

License
RN or CST; CRCST preferred upon hire or must obtain within 1 year of employment
