Job Location
The Housing, Resource and Outreach Specialist is a Community Based role.

Job Duties
This is a staff level position with responsibilities key to the success of the InteCare SSVF Program to ensure that Veterans and their families obtain and maintain permanent housing, as well as needed coordination and linkage to supportive services.

Must be a Veteran with anything other than dishonorable discharge. Prior work experience must include working with individuals in a community or social services setting.

Must have a High school diploma or equivalent. Must have had crisis intervention training or complete within the first quarter of start date.

Current Driver’s license and proof of auto insurance required; driving record that adheres to CHI policy

  • Must have effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Must have good written communication skills
  • Must be proficient with computers and use of basic software programs such as Microsoft Office
  • Must be proficient in use of cell phones and other applicable electronic equipment

This role is 80% travel base will be primarily working out in the community.
