The Director, Hospice position is located in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Duties

The Director, Hospice is responsible for all aspects of the clinical components of hospice services to provide quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient care. This leader ensures that all applicable state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, agency policies and procedures are adhered to by each individual. The Director supervises a team of clinical managers, hospice clinical services assistant, bereavement coordinator, and volunteer manager.

Experience

Minimum four (4) years of nursing experience, three (3) years of management experience, and two (2) years of hospice experience required.

Education

BSN required, with MSN within four (4) years of start date.

License

Current Indiana Registered Nurse License, and CPR certified.

  • Demonstrated ability to assess and respond to the needs of patients, staff and referral sources in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Skilled in clinical practice and technique.
