The Director Case Management position is located in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Duties

The Director provides onsite leadership to ensure daily department operations function effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of all customer and regulatory groups. This leader provides direction, leadership and guidance to employees and customers and facilitates continuous change and improvement. The Director serves as a role model and demonstrates performance consistent with professional standards of practice, and the mission and goals of the organization.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in hospital setting as an RN or MSW.
  • Minimum two (2) years of management/leadership experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of case management experience.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or social work. BSN or equivalent degree preferred for RN candidates or MSW for social work candidates.

  • Current Indiana Registered Nurse License for RN candidates, or current LSW or LCSW license from the state of Indiana for SW candidates.
  • Certified Case Manager, Accredited Case Manager, or equivalent Certification preferred.
  • Demonstrates competency as a Case Manager.
  • Demonstrates team-building skills with accountability to the team.
  • Demonstrates ability to effect change by assuming leadership roles in interdisciplinary teams and supporting the growth and development of team members.
  • Demonstrates understanding of quality improvement processes at both the unit and the network level.
  • Understands the relationship of individual patients, units, and/or departments to the network as a whole, to facilitate achievement of optimal goals within those relationships.
