The Instructor position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana and will teach classes at each Community Hospital.
The Instructor teaches specific classes independently or with others such as Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and phlebotomy.
Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching the specific classes.
Healthcare provider discipline, such as RN, LPN, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic, or Phlebotomist.
Instructor Certification in the class/course to be taught, such as CPR, ACLS, and/or PALS.
- Ability to teach a group and receive above average evaluations
- Calm, pleasant, professional demeanor
- Patience in teaching others
- Adhere to the standards for the specific class
- Willingness to function as a team with other Instructors in a specific course
