Michelle Mahaffey joined Community Health Network as chief human resources officer in June 2020.
Previously, Michelle served as the senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group. Prior to serving as Simon's chief human resources officer, she led Simon’s compensation, benefits, learning & development, HRIS and payroll functions. Before she joined Simon in 2013, Michelle held various HR positions with Cummins in Columbus and with Dell in Austin, Texas.
Michelle currently serves on the board of directors of Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana as well as the board of directors for Horizon House of Indianapolis.
A native of Texas, Michelle now considers herself a Hoosier. She earned her BS in business administration from the University of Kansas School of Business, her JD from the University of Kansas School of Law, and her MBA from Vanderbilt University.
