Foundation merger strengthens Indianapolis fundraising effortsCommunity Health Network’s board of directors has approved the merger of Community Westview Hospital Foundation into Community Health Network Foundation. The merger maximizes fundraising opportunities in our Indianapolis-area markets while also fostering cost-savings and consistent communications to donors and grateful patients and their families.
As one fundraising entity serving the core of Community’s central Indiana market, Community Health Network Foundation is positioned to meet the strategic needs of our East, North, South and West regions. The funds transferred from Community Westview Hospital Foundation to Community Health Network Foundation have established a new West Region Fund to fulfill the greatest needs of that region’s patients and caregivers. That fund will be managed by David Williams, DO, president of Community’s West Region.
This merger follows the 2011 announcement that Westview Hospital had affiliated with Community Health Network.
