Scholarship recipients

Each student athlete received a $1,000 scholarship award based on their commitment to excellence both on and off the competition field. The recipients were selected by their school administration and athletic departments. Community Sports Medicine applauds these student-athletes' academic achievements and community involvement.

Warren Central High School Receives National Athletic Trainers’ Association Safe Sports School Award

Program recognizes high schools that help to keep young athletes safe

Warren Central High School Receives National Athletic Trainers’ Association Safe Sports School AwardINDIANAPOLIS April 21, 2015 – Warren Central High School is the recipient of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Safe Sports School award for its sports and physical education programs. The award champions safety and recognizes secondary schools that provide safe environments for student athletes. The award reinforces the importance of providing the best level of care, injury prevention and treatment.

“Warren Central is honored to receive this recognition from NATA, as it reflects our continued commitment to keep our student athletes safe during physical education classes, team practices and games so they can accomplish their own goals of great competition, winning records, fair sportsmanship and good health. Our goal is to lead our athletics program to the highest safety standards for our players,” said Marques Clayton, Athletic Director.
