Our Team

Community Health Network has a whole team of physicians, certified athletic trainers and strength coaches, and physical and occupational therapists specially trained to treat all varieties of sports or orthopedic injuries. Whether you have a sprained ankle, muscle strain, torn ACL or a concussion, our team can help you get back in the game.

Athletes that have a recent injury or condition can visit our sports injuries walk-in clinic on the Community North campus to be seen by a sports medicine physician. Or self-refer to physical therapy for an evaluation appointment by a physical therapist.

Physicians

Our sports medicine physicians are athletes themselves so they understand what you may be experiencing, whether you are a student athlete, a top-performing professional or a recreational sports enthusiast. Sports medicine primary care physicians are focused on common sports injuries and conditions that athletes will experience. Our goal is to help you get back to the active lifestyle you enjoy while lowering your risk of re-injury.

Certified Athletic Trainers and Strength Coaches

Certified athletic trainers (ATCs) are educated and trained in health care. They work with physicians to provide preventive and emergency care, assess injury and support rehabilitation. Our ATCs support area schools sports programs and local professional teams.

Physical and Occupational Therapists

Our physical therapists and occupational therapists support rehabilitation of athletes after injury. They are typically athletes themselves and many are also athletic trainers, which helps them motivate and educate patients during recovery. We offer 20 locations for physical therapy in the Central Indiana. You'll find all our therapist bios on our location pages.

You don't need a doctor referral for physical or occupational therapy. Call 317-355-7868 (PTOT) or request an appointment online.
