Michael DaRosa, DO, is a primary sports medicine physician who specializes in non-operative treatments of musculoskeletal conditions. He is a graduate of Carthage College, Kenosha, Wisconsin and received his medical degree from Des Moines College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. DaRosa completed his residency at Exampla St. Joseph Family Medicine, Denver, Colorado, and received his fellowship training at Indiana University Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program.
Dr. DaRosa specializes in acute, chronic and overuse injuries such as sprain, strains, tendonitis and fractures. His areas of special interest include concussion management, osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMT), joint/tendon/ligament injections, regenerative injection therapy, musculoskeletal ultrasound, nutrition guidance and exercise prescriptions.
Dr. DaRosa is a member of American Society for Sports Medicine, American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine, Indiana Sports Concussion Network, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association and the Sigma Sigma Phi (National Osteopathic Honor Society).
Married to a physician, Dr. DaRosa enjoys running, snowboarding, playing soccer and disc golf.
