Therapy services at our Hillsdale location in north Indianapolis include the full spectrum of physical, occupational therapy for orthopedic disorders and health. Specialties include therapy for pregnancy/post-partum; oncology/lymphedema therapy; TMJ pain; McKenzie, Graston, SFMA and Mulligan techniques; thoracic, spine and cervical treatment; upper and lower extremity therapy, including orthotics; speech-language and developmental delay in pediatric patients; pelvic floor dysfunction in men and women; chronic pain management; arthritis and osteoporosis care; and wellness coaching.
Christina Adair, PTA specializes in general orthopedics with a special interest in pain associated with pregnancy, wellness training, breast cancer recovery and osteoporosis. She also has advanced training in Graston technique, prenatal and postpartum exercise and incorporating health promotion into PT. Additionally, Christina is YogaFit certified.
Rachel Brichler, PT, DPT, CLT, LANA is a certified lymphedema therapist who specializes in oncology/lymphedema management, as well as general orthopedics. Rachel also has advanced training in myofascial techniques and has received her Certification in Lymphedema Therapy from Klose Training and Consulting, LLC and the Lymphology Association of North America (CLT-LANA).
Barbara Feltman, PT, DHS, CLT-LANA is a doctor of health sciences and certified lymphedema therapist who specializes in oncology/lymphedema management, as well as general orthopedics. She also has advanced training in manual lymph drainage, complete decongestive therapy, oncology rehabilitation and kinesiotaping.
Mary Fridlund, PT has extensive training in stabilization and rehabilitation of the lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine. Mary uses many manual techniques including myofascial release, neural tension mobilization and muscle energy. Mary also treats fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions, TMJ pain and dysfunction, sacroiliac pain and dysfunction, pregnancy related back pain, and myofascial restriction following mastectomy.
Valerie Goodwin, OTR specializes in upper extremity rehabilitation and orthopedics. She also has advanced training in biomechanics of the hand, evaluation and treatment of shoulder, wrist and hand dysfunctions, upper extremity thermoplastic and neoprene splinting, nerve entrapments of the upper extremity, Graston technique and kinesiotaping.
Amy Guillaume, PT, DPT, CSCS is a doctor of physical therapy who specializes in general orthopedics with a special interest in shoulder and knee dysfunction. Amy is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist and a Sportsmetrics certified specialist for ACL tear prevention.
Courtney Hertel, PTA, CLT specializes in orthopedic disorders, low back pain in pregnancy/post-partum patients and is certified in lymphedema management. She also has advanced training in McKenzie Part A, Graston technique, core, cervical and thoracic stabilization techniques and Mullligan mobilizations with movement.
Catherine "Katie" Keith, PT, MSPT is a physical therapist who specializes in pediatrics. She also has a special interest in genetic and neurological disorders. Katie has advanced training in the assessment and treatment of torticollis, pediatric kinesiotaping and evaluation and treatment in early intervention. Her advanced training in neurodevelopmental treatment includes the Bobath Certificate course in the management and treatment of children with cerebral palsy and other neuromotor disorders.
Kelsey Kennedy, PT, DPT is a doctor of physical therapy who specializes in general orthopedics and sports medicine rehabilitation. Additionally, Kelsey has advanced training in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA).
Amy Matthews, MS, OTR/L is an occupational therapist with a special interest in pediatric patients with sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorders and children needing handwriting improvement skills. She also has advanced training in sequential oral sensory approach to feeding, sensory integration and the rehabilitation of a variety of disabilities including emotional behavioral disorders and developmental disabilities.
Brett McDonald, PT, MSPT specializes in general orthopedics and has a special interest in sports medicine rehabilitation, athletic injuries and knee and shoulder injury and rehabilitation. Brett also has advanced training in Graston techniques.
Joel Novak, PT, DPT, CSCS is certified in strength and conditioning through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. He has advanced training in the Graston technique and Mulligan mobilization with movement, as well as in the diagnosis and treatment of movement and muscle imbalances with the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Functional Movement Systems (FMS) and Y Balance Test. His areas of special interest include orthopedics as well as the diagnosis and treatment of foot/ankle, knee and shoulder pathology.
Christine Oser, MA, CCC-SLP is a certified speech-language pathologist who specializes in pediatric speech and language disorders. Christine has a special interest in developmental speech and language delays in children, non-verbal communication, autism spectrum disorders, apraxia of speech and pediatric feeding. She also has advanced training in pediatric speech and language assessments.
Amanda Owens, PT, DPT is a physical therapist and women’s health specialist who specializes in women’s and men’s health, pelvic floor dysfunction and general orthopedics. Amanda also has advanced training in female pelvic floor (Level 3), urogynecologic examination and treatment (Level 2B), colorectal and coccyx conditions, male pelvic floor and pudendal nerve dysfunction (Level 2A).
Alissa Parker, MS, CCC-SLP treats speech and language delays, developmental delays, and has extensive training with pediatric patients. Alissa has advanced training in apraxia, phonology, and articulation.
Don Tarr, PTA treats orthopedic patients and patients with chronic pain. He has training in chronic pain management, positional release and muscle energy techniques.
Karen Wood, MHS, PT specializes in arthritis care and general orthopedic disorders, with a special interest in cervical spine and hip joint dysfunction. She has advanced training in the evaluation and treatment of spine dysfunction, muscle energy, and functional mobilization/stabilization. Additionally, Karen is a US Bone & Joint Initiative educator.
