Curtis graduated from Marian University in May 2013 with a double major in sports performance and sports management with cum laude honors. During his course at Marian, Curtis played basketball for the university for four years. Curtis completed his internships at various occupational therapy locations throughout Indianapolis, as well as an internship at the CrossFit NapTown fitness club. After seeing both therapeutic and post-surgery functional therapy—supplemented with Olympic lifting, power lifting, gymnastics, and overall daily functional movements—Curtis has decided to apply his education to personal training. Curtis is also currently taking classes for his master’s degree in occupational therapy. Curtis’s overall philosophy is to apply every fitness movement and lift into our everyday functional movements, ultimately creating a healthier, more effective and more beneficial daily living.
