"Previously having been an athlete and having worked out routinely my whole life, I never felt compelled to use a fitness trainer. I was always puzzled however, that for as much as I worked out my body never noticeably responded. I always considered myself fit, but did not see measurable changes in my appearance. I was given an opportunity to use a personal trainer that gave me a more holistic approach to my fitness goals. After six months, I found for the first time a noticeable difference in my appearance – adding inches to my arms and reducing my waist. I also felt that I was using the gym experience much more efficiently – not necessarily working out more but getting more out of the time that I spent in the facility. After 12 months, there was clearly a noticeable difference in my physique. The trainer kept changing my routine just enough to keep my body from plateauing. The slight changes also kept me learning new exercises and kept me mentally motivated. The value proposition of using a trainer is very high. "I started personal training with Amber Cullison in July 2008. With her guidance and support, I lost 55 lbs (so far) 29 inches and went down 4 sizes.
