What is SHIP?
SHIP stands for State Health Insurance Assistance Program. The key word is “assistance.” We don't sell anything. Instead, we give qualified, unbiased and FREE assistance to Medicare beneficiaries who have concerns or questions about their health insurance.
Trained volunteer counselors are available to meet in person or by phone to discuss your Medicare choices. Additional SHIP sites are available throughout Indiana. For more information call toll-free at 800-452-4800 or visit the Indiana.gov website.
