Patient testimonial: Lillian
Greetings. I live in Noblesville, and when my doctor told me I would need a septoplasty, I was nervous because I've never done really well with anesthesia, and hospital stays were often lonely and antiseptic emotionally. I was told I would need to stay at Community Surgery Center Hamilton overnight. Nothing prepared me for the excellent level of care. The anesthesiologist listened carefully to my concerns and was so respectful! I woke up easily from my procedure. Dr. Sam Harmon, my surgeon, was an expert. Compared to all the experiences I read about on septoplasty blogs, my immediate recovery was definitely not difficult at all.
The nurses! My goodness! They are all equally awesome; all wonderful. I would like to remember all their names, but the ones that come to mind are Lin, Teresa, and Sherri. All so dedicated to my healing, my comfort, they waited on me hand and foot with whatever I needed, and provided a listening ear when I voiced requests. There was lightning fast response time to any button pushed.
No one hopes they have to have outpatient surgery again, but if I do need it, I really want it to be at your facility. Please feel free to send my letter to any doctor who does surgery and cares about his patients’ post-op care. I know they will love their overnight recuperation time as much as I did. I give you more than a 100% score…150%! Your center and staff went overtime to make sure I was comfortable, warm, and happy and listened to. I believe this kind of caring really helps patient recovery time, and you are my first choice for an outpatient center if surgery is recommended for me again.
Thank you so much for your hard work…all of you. You did great!
