Community adds new CT scanners
Community Health Network has added two new CT scanners, at Community Hospital East and Community Hospital North. The new scanners are part of Community’s continued effort to provide our patients with the latest in imaging technology.

Community focuses on patient dose reduction
Recently, there has been a great deal of media coverage regarding radiation exposure through medical imaging. Community Health Network continues to be a leader in our efforts to reduce patient exposure and still provide the highest quality imaging exam. To read more about radiation safety and our efforts to reduce exposure, please see our radiation safety and risk page.

Why choose Community?

At Community Health Network, we understand that you have many choices in central Indiana for your radiology and medical imaging services. Why choose Community over other options? The following are a few of the many benefits of choosing a Community Health Network location for your imaging services needs.

  • Accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR)
Accreditation by the ACR, which was recently designated by the US government as an accrediting body for Medicare and Medicaid providers, ensures that the staff and physicians, along with the imaging equipment being used, are of the highest standards.
  • Accreditation by The Joint Commission (TJC)
Accreditation by the Joint Commission, a national accrediting body for health care organizations, provides assurance that our organization adheres to the highest standard in patient safety. The Joint Commission’s on-site surveys check for compliance with national patient safety goals. When you choose Community you can rest assured that you are receiving your health care in a safe and quality-driven environment
  • The latest imaging technology
Community Health Network continuously invests in the latest imaging technology to provide you and your physician with the highest level of diagnostic information possible. With technology such as fully digital x-ray and mammography systems, 64-slice CT scanners, high-field open MRI scanners, and 3D imaging technology, you can feel comfortable knowing you are receiving care with the latest in imaging technology.

Please read our imaging services brochure for many more reasons why choosing Community Health Network for imaging services is a smart move.
