Becoming a CPI physician

Chances are, you first became a doctor because you wanted to practice medicine. Yet physicians soon discover that the practice of medicine involves a complex web of clinical, business, legal, financial, regulatory and other management requirements.

Community Physicians of Indiana understands the challenges that primary care physicians face in an increasingly difficult complex and changing health care environment. Today, it can be extremely difficult to meet these challenges alone.

That’s why primary care physicians developed Community Physicians of Indiana (CPI). This primary care group practice, developed and led by physicians, gives you enhanced opportunities for success, excellence, influence and freedom to apply the highest standards of care and service. CPI is an interdependent group of primary care physicians and nurse practitioners, not a management company.

Through this group practice, you can freely focus on providing high-quality care and take advantage of CPI’s above-average earnings potential.

As part of Community Physicians of Indiana, you’ll also have access to a wide variety of practice management services, from practice start-up to human resources support to a wide range of financial, billing and coding, and accounting services.

What’s more, you’ll be a vital part of Community Health Network, which is ranked among the top 20 integrated health care delivery networks in the nation. CPI’s structure allows physicians to learn from and share with each other as well as have group influence on Community’s organizational strategies. This ability to manage your local work environment, and yet be a part of a group with influence in a regional health system, is an uncommon advantage. Because CPI was both developed and is led by primary care physicians, its structure is uniquely suited to your needs.
