Benefits

Residents are eligible for benefits similar to other employees of the pharmacy department at Community Health Network.

Stipend
PGY1—$39,000

Vacation
Eligible for hospital employee Paid Time Off (PTO) bank for vacation, sick and holiday time off.

Meetings/travel
Our PGY1 residents are required to attend and present their residency project at American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting and Great Lakes Pharmacy Residency Conference. Registration, travel, and lodging expenses for the meetings are covered by Community Health Network.

Fitness center
The hospital system has on and off-site fitness centers available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

Parking
Covered and surface lot parking is available at the hospitals at no cost.

Medical insurance
Residents and their families are eligible for the same pre-tax health insurance benefits available to hospital employees and may choose from several different plans. Dental and vision plans also are available.

Health care and dependent care
Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options for both health care and dependent care are available.
