What is health ministry?

Health ministry:

Integrates faith and health by connecting the body, mind and spirit
Involves congregations as they are reclaiming their role in health and healing
Develops through a congregational health committee
Initiates educational activities toward disease prevention and health promotion
Emphasizes caring and healing with individuals, congregations and local as well as global communities

How to get started - health ministries class

You are invited! Come join us for our health ministries class (see registration packet below). Through community outreach, parish nursing and health ministries is able to provide classes on how to get your congregation started in a health ministry program. You are invited to bring three individuals (do not need medical background) from your congregation to attend this class free of charge. Class information includes:
