Our staff
Registered dietitians: expertise and experience
You can have confidence in the counseling and education registered dietitians provide. Rigorous education and testing ensure that registered dietitians offer the most current information and best guidance. Community's dietitians meet these standards:
- Baccalaureate degree in dietetics granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college or university, or foreign equivalent, and approved by the Commission on Accreditation/Approval for Dietetics Education of the American Dietetic Association (CAADE of ADA).
- A minimum of 900 supervised practice hours of pre-professional experience accredited/approved by the CAADE of ADA.
- Completion of the registration exam for dietitians.
- 75 hours of approved continuing professional education every five years.
