Indianapolis, IN---Myron D. Lewis, FACHE, has been named vice president of neuroscience services at Community Health Network. He will oversee the health system’s patient-centered neuroscience programs and operations. Lewis officially begins his role on August 12.
“Myron is a systemic and principled leader with a strong track record of developing and growing neuroscience service lines,” said Tony Javorka, chief operating officer of Community Physician Network. “His entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative approach as a leader will help us formalize an integrated approach to delivering comprehensive neuroscience care across the communities we serve in Central Indiana.”
Lewis has 19 years of executive planning and business development experience in healthcare systems in Indiana and Michigan. Most recently, he served on the executive team for Indiana University Health Saxony Hospital, where he contributed to a successful opening of the hospital in 2011. He has spoken nationally on the development and growth of neuroscience service lines, and in 2009 he was appointed to the Indiana Stroke Prevention Task Force by Governor Mitch Daniels. He is also a past president of the Indiana Hospital Association Acute Rehabilitation Task Force.
Lewis completed his bachelor of arts degree in industrial and organizational psychology at Michigan State University and his master’s degree in clinical social work at Western Michigan University. He completed his master of business administration degree at Indiana Wesleyan University. Lewis is a fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives (FACHE) and a licensed project management professional (PMP).
